Livingston "Bud" Pritchett says he wants attorneys who trust him and believe him. The 40 year old was sentenced to life in prison for first degree murder in the shooting death of Estel Singleton Senior at an Ironto rest stop. He rejected a plea agreement that would have given him 40 years in prison. He says the fact that his lawyers insisted he plea bargain proves they don't think he is innocent. The mildly retarded Prithcett confessed to police. The Virginia Supreme Court granted him a new trial that was meant to start on Wednesday because experts on mental reta(------------) rdation weren't allowed to testify the first time.
