Fifteen year old Nakisha Waddell admited to the first degree murder of her mother, Vaughne Thomas.
Thomas was stabbed to death last May in her Max Meadows home and then buried in the back yard.
Waddell's friend, 16 year old Anastasia Belcher pled guilty to second degree murder.
Police say she helped dispose of the body.

Continental Airlines is soon to be embroiled in the investigation into a deadly Concorde crash near Paris.

The crash in July of 2000 killed all 109 people on board and four on the ground and helped end the supersonic jet's career. Judicial experts say the crash was caused by debris that fell from a *Continental* flight. Experts say a Continental DC-10 dropped a titanium strip just before the Concorde took off from the same runway. A spokesman for Continental denies the airline bears any responsibility for the crash. The airline's executives are expected to appear before a judge in March.

A number of movies, like "Gods and Generals" have been filmed in Virginia, but task force members say the state could attract more.

The Jet Propulsion Laboratory says the Mars rover Spirit has found a mineral linked to water. Scientists say the mineral goethite was identified in bedrock taken from the Red planet.
