The family of 20 year old Nicholas Mason confirmed he was killed in the attack.
Mason was from King George County, near Fredericksburg. His family says he attended Virginia Tech for a year before being deployed to Iraq.

The trial of 21 year old Roy Omar Hodge is just three weeks away. Today the judge ordered the prosecution to give the defense more details on its case.

Hodge is charged with first degree murder in the shooting death of 25 year old Brian Keith Gray. Gray was shot and killed in his Radford apartment last May, in what police are calling a home-invasion drug robbery.
Police believe Hodge did not pull the trigger, but was an accomplice in the killing.

The 8 and 3 Virginia will try and tackle 8 and 3 Fresno State in the Micron PC Bowl December 27th in Boise , Idaho. UVa is the highest ranked team to ever play in this bowl at 18th in the country.
