(( With the insurgent group claiming responsibility for Tuesdays deadly attack in Mosul now saying it was an inside job-the U.S military is re-examining security measures at all of its bases in Iraq.
Iraqis hold a variety of jobs on bases including translation, cleaning and cooking.
It appears thats how the suicide bomber got on the base.
Todays Washington Post reports the militant groups website says he was a local man who had worked there for four months. He apparently gained the Americans trust by providing them with intelligence.
At lunchtime he walked into the dining tent and blew himself up-killing 22 people and wounding more than 70.

An airport spokesman says no one was hurt in the incident, which happened shortly before 8:30.
But few flights have been able to take off or land at the Richmond airport.
The spokesman said the pilot of the American Airlines M-D-80 jet taxied off the runway into a grassy patch.
The incident has blocked two runways that handle 98- percent of Richmond's flights.
A few planes have been able to take off from a third runway used by regional jets.

((Earlier this year, 57-year-old Caralee Weich and her daughter Amy were in downtown San Francisco seeing a play, when Caralee felt light-headed. I told her I felt dizzy, and I just kind of went down. she was shocked 8 times, given all of the proper CPR drugs, intubated in the field... Caralee's heart had failed and several nurses, who were at the theater attending the play, started CPR. but when the ambulance arrived.. the nurses were replaced with a machine called the autopulse without it, she probably wouldn't have survived because the machine does far more effective CPR . I believe that the autopulse was instrumental in Caralee's complete recovery. the autopulse is designed to do the chest-compression part of CPR and couldn't be simpler to use. You simply strap it to the patient, and turn it on. With this device, they turn it on, and they let it go. And, its works. in Caralee's case, her heart was stopped for almost 40 minutes. that's usually too long, often leaving one dead or with significant brain damage... Ambulance companies, fire departments and hospitals across the country are beginning to buy Autopulse machines, and in one fire chief's opinion, its well worth the cost of $11,000.
This is one of the best products we've ever seen. This is something that medically is going to make a difference. Caralee considers herself living proof. My daughter Amy got married in July, and I walked her down the aisle, and I would have hated to miss that experience. Dr. Sanjay Gupta, CNN, San Francisco California ))
