A public meeting will be held tonight at an Amherst County Elementary School where an active case of tuberculosis has been diagnosed. Health officials won't be specific about who brought the illness to the school.

They're asking about fifty to sixty people who had close contact with that person to be skin-tested within the next week.

C-R-C Vice President Joe Pritchard says nothing was broken, but he says there was paint on the bricks and windows, even the bushes. A private contractor spent the weekend cleaning up the mess, and the clinic now has 24-hour security.

Meanwhile, Roanoke fire investigators comtinue to study a fatal fire this weekend. A man and a woman were killed when a fire broke out at three o'clock New Year's morning in a small apartment behind Gary's Restaurant on Sixth Street.

Yesterday, city building inspectors were on the scene to investigate what they call a "combined building and zoning issue." No word what building inspectors found, but fire officials say the small apartment had only one-exit. The medical examiner has yet to release the names of the people killed in the blaze.

Frey stops short of saying she believes Peterson is guilty.
But she claims she was relieved when the verdict was announced.
