Officials say it started in a maintenance room in the basement. A sprinkler system kept the blaze under control until firefighters arrived. 50 people were inside the building, but no one was hurt. Officials have determined an electrical short started the fire, which caused an estimated three thousand dollars in damage. Avante administrators say the fire has not disrupted their operations.
