The S-H-60 went down about 500-yards from this airport in Banda Aceh (AH'-cheh).
It was trying to land at the airport, but instead crashed on its side in a rice paddy.
A U-S military spokesman says two American servicemen were INJURED.
The chopper was flying personnel from the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln to the airport.
Banda Aceh has been a focal point for relief efforts on Indonesia's Sumatra Island, an area that was shaken by yet another earthquake today.

Officials say 45-year-old Clayton Calvin Martin Junior shot 25 year-old Jamishia Lanise Jackson around 12:30 this morning.

Officers say Jackson was sitting in a vehicle when she was killed. Police are still looking for Clayton Martin, who fled on foot after the shooting. Friends of Jackson's say she and Martin were involved in a relationship. Police are asking anyone with information on the shooting to call Lynchburg Police.

It took crews from Rocky Mount, Ferrum and Glade Hill to put the blaze out.

Two other tugboats came to the rescue and pulled six crewmembers out of the water. Three later died.

The big man started 14 games for the Dazzle, and leads the D-league in double doubles and rebounds per game with 14. Thomas is also averaging 12 points per outing. Sources around the league say that Beltran and the New York Mets have agreed to try to work out a seven-year, 119 million dollar contract. The two sides have come to terms on an eleven million dollar signing bonus. Season salaries and deferred payments still have to be structured. Beltran helped Houston come within a victory of its first World Series last year. If the deal goes through, he'll be the tenth player in baseball history to agree to a contract worth 100 million dollars or more.
