Police in Lynchburg are still looking for a suspect they say was involved in a fatal shooting early Sunday morning outside the James Crossing Apartment Complex.

Police say 45-year-old Clayton Calvin Martin Junior shot 25 year-old Jamishia Lanise Jackson around 12:30 Sunday morning.

Officers say Jackson was sitting in a vehicle when she was killed. Police are still looking for Clayton Martin, who they say fled on foot after the shooting. Friends of Jackson's say she and Martin were involved in a relationship. Police are asking anyone with information on the shooting to call Lynchburg Police.

Vice Mayor Tom Middlecamp wants to do that by adding a section to the town code which would keep commercial vehicles from parking on Buchanan streets from eight at night, to eight in the morning. This isn't the first time the town has step in to keep big rigs from parking within its limits. Officials banned trucks from parking near a boat landing -citing fears of leaks or contamination into the James River.

Rodeo officials say they thought they were doing a so called immigrant a favor by letting him show his appreciation for America Friday night at the Salem Civic Center.

Organizers of the rodeo say they were blind sided when the man they let sing the national anthem disgraced the song by using anti-American lyrics. Comedian Ali G is known for his deception. Bond dropped her daughter off at her mother's house in Salem on her way to work at Bojangles. But, Bond never showed up at work or later that night. Debbie Jensen says her daughter had received some disturbing phone calls at work, and the day she disappeared she contacted her ex-husband in California, asking for help.
