Last night's severe weather made it difficult for some people to get around this morning.
Route 43 in Botetourt County was closed for several hours due to high water.
It has since reopened.
High wind was the problem in Danville. Twenty units of an apartment complex lost their roofs.
Let's go over to Brent Watts for more information on what happened last night.

Another person's been charged in the attack on a Bland County deputy. Last month Kermit DeHart was trying to serve a search warrant on 31 year old Teddy Brent Davis when a fight broke out.
Investigators say Davis and his father, 60 year old Teddy Donald Davis broke the deputy's leg. Now, Jane Davis is in jail, charged with being a principal in the second degree malicious wounding. Police say she verbally encouraged her husband and son to harm the officer. Deputy Dehart was released from a Tennessee hospital on Sunday.

Virginia's General Assembly members are in a somber mood at the state capitol this afternoon -- after getting news that one of their colleagues died last night. Hampton Roads Senator Hunter Andrews was a former Senate minority leader and chairman of the finance committee. The cause of his death isn't known, but he had NOT been ill at a meeting last week. Andrews was elected 1963 and was its longest-serving member when he was defeated in 1995. But he came back in recent years as an elder statesman, serving on boards and commissions. He was 83 years old.
