Tsunami relief has poured in from all over the world to help the victims who lost everything in the disaster. A couple that has headed up relief efforts in Roanoke left today to begin their hands on work in Sri Lanka. Jeremy Butterfield caught up with the two at the airport and tells us what they hope to do while overseas.

(( Sam and Kathy Samarasinghe caught their plane Saturday afternoon to begin the first leg of their trip to Sri Lanka.

He's a doctor, she's a nurse. The two feel they have done what they can from Roanoke and are now ready to help overseas. They've wanted to take the trip to his native country for months-- but after the tsunami disaster, the trip's purpose took on a new meaning.

And this story from Indonesia .. a reunion between a seven-year old boy and his father gives hope to those who are still searching for loved ones.

The child, named Martunis, was spotted by a news crew and taken to a hospital where he was recognized by another patient. Soon after, the boy was reunited with his father and grandfather. The boy was thought to have lived on *puddle water and dried noodles* while wandering for three weeks. A spokesperson says the boy was clearly dehydrated and malnourished. However, he is expected to make a full recovery.

, the former MP took the stand in his own defense. For nearly 3 hours, Graner told a 10 member military jury that military intelligence ordered him to break down detainees for interrogation. : "I've never had a military jury do something that's unreasonable...we respect their decision - I think that they gave due deliberation to everything, what I'm concerned about in the way of fairness, is that there's so much evidence kept out. My client is certainly a scapegoat as well - I think all 7 of them are." Graner - the so-called ring leader, is guilty of five charges of abusing prisoners. On the stand, Grander stopped short of apologizing, but told the jury, quote, "I did not enjoy what I did there, I acknowledge a lot of it was wrong and I acknowledge a lot of it was criminal."

Roanoke County police say charges are pending against two teens suspected of firing B-B guns at a half-dozen vehicles last night.

The BB gunshots slightly injured two people.
Officers found the teen suspects at a nearby home, but have not arrested them.

The Steelers Ben Roethlisberger finally played like a rookie, but the Jets couldn't take full advantage as Pittsburgh advanced to the AFC title game.

The Steelers took control thanks to a Chad Pennington pick in the 1st quarter. Jerome Bettis bulls in from 3 yards out to give the black and gold a 10-nothing lead.
But Santana Moss quickly changed all that. The former Miami standout, fields the punt at his own 25, cuts upfield and turns it into a 75 yard touchdown return and it was 10-all at halftime.
Roethlisberger tossed an INT of his own in the third quarter. Reggie Tongue makes him pay taking it 86 yards to the house the other way, and the J-E-T-S, Jets were smelling the upset.
The Steelers answered on the short shovel pass to Hines Ward to tie things up again.
That set the stage for the Jets Doug Brien to win it, but he missed two field goals inside the final two and a half minutes so this one went to overtime.
Pittsburgh's Jeff Reed knocked thru a 33 yarder and that was the difference in a 20 to 17 win.

The Steelers will host either the Colts or Patriots next week.
