Two men were hurt, one seriously, during an apparent industrial accident at an Appomattox furniture plant this afternoon.

Around two, rescue crews were called to the Thomasville Furniture plant on Route 460.
Two employees who had been working in a concrete pit near the plant's boiler room reportedly were hit by a falling piece of metal.
