Dixon and other parents on bus four's route in Craig County are concerned. They say more often than not - the seats on this 64-passenger bus are overflowing with kids.

Parents and students of Bus 4 say it's an ongoing problem, which they have addressed with school officials, but nothing's being done.

Tracy Poff, who's principal of operations for Craig County schools, says that's NOT the case. While parents say the school system's been slow to act, Poff says he's doing his homework to make sure any changes would work.

Two people were injured early this morning, when their car ran off the road and plunged down the side of Bent Mountain.

Roanoke County Police closed two lanes of traffic as a wrecker recovered the vehicle.
Investigators say the car was heading north on Bent Mountain Road around 1:30 A-M, when the driver failed to negotiate a curve. The car left the road and travelled approximately 200 feet down the mountain.
Two people were taken to the hospital, but tonight there's no word on the extent of their injuries.
