Ricky Andrew Huffman and Todd Russell Harless were arrested this morning. A-T-F Agents say the two men told essentially the same story when confronted at work.
[SUPER=03-Roanoke/Last Night]

Huffman picked up Harless last night around 8:30 and drove to an alley behind 420 Fourteenth Street. According to a federal affidavit, they put a pipe bomb in the trash can and ran. Harless allegedly bought the parts at Home Depot and the black powder at a gun show at the Civic Center. The criminal complaint says Harless built the pipe bomb at his mother's house in Salem. His former girlfriend immediately suspected Harless, because she says he'd told her: "If you hear a boom outside your house, it is me." The court documents also quote Harless as saying: "I got some neat goodies at the last gun show, including gun powder."
