While the Shiites are expected to

Interim Prime Minister Iyad Allawi's

His public confidence has been boosted
by the relative lack of violence

during elections and the days that

double figures, including Matt Carroll
who scored 18 points. He knocks this
one from the top of the key with this
nice jumper.

Terrence Shannon would only hit
five of 14, and score 12 points, but as
a team the Dazzle shot a sizzling 55
percent from the floor.
*CG final Asheville
111 Cory Alexander fed his teammates Roanoke Dazzle all night long as the no-look pass 126 finds Isiah Victor - who made 9 of 13
shots, and scored a game high 26
points.

The Dazzle wins it 126-to-111 and
hits the road for the next three games.

Preseason Testing More than 40 teams made the trek out :00 west to literally try and get a grip on
things.

This preseason NASCAR has cut a
whole inch off of the rear spoilers,
and Goodyear has introduced a brand new
tire compound.

The changes have left crew chiefs
and mechanics trying to make the cars
stick to the track.

David Letterman was out of the country
when his mentor died.

But last night, the late night host
had his turn honoring the T-V legend.

Carson was reading the newspaper,

watching T-V, and making jokes until
the end-- sending many of them on to
Letterman.
