searching for the man they believe is
responsible.

It happened around 8:30 near the
intersection of 16th Street and Rugby
Boulevard.

Roanoke police say they found 20-
year- old Desiree Jennings inside the
Annwill Grocery store. She was taken to
Roanoke Memorial Hospital where she
later died.

23- year- old Raphael Rashadd Jones.
Officers believe he is armed and
dangerous and stress that you should
not approach Jones if you see him. If

of voluntary manslaughter, and
recommended a seven-year sentence.

Stanley Crawford last March ended with
Crawford bleeding to death.

Yesterday, Gallimore took the
witness stand and told the jury he
feared for his life and that he hit
Stanley Crawford three times in
self-defense.

Now a widow, Teresa Crawford says
her family was somewhat disappointed
with the verdict.

That's why Craig County
pharmacist Daniel Lineberry substituted
vitamins for a prescription drug,
according to his lawyer.

Lineberry was picked up by
FEDERAL authorities yesterday - charged
with mislabeling and tampering with
drugs.

been negotiating with federal
authorities to reach a plea agreement.

He says Lineberry was under
pressure from a new drug store in town.

motel in the United States.

The case involves sex crimes

against a young girl that appeared on
porn sites around the world.

digitally altered photos showing the
locations of the attacks, they were
flooded with tips from the public.

U-S authorities helped confirm that
the pictures matched a hotel in the
Southern part of the United States. At
this time they are not releasing any

Police believe the pictures were
taken two to three years ago.

The young girl appears to be around the
age of nine.

Sex crime investigators believe the
girl's abuser is a family member.

accused of molesting his 8-year old son
and allowing other men to do so as

well.

The Catawba-area man is not being
identified in the interest of
withholding the boy's identity.

Charges against the man include
55-counts of possessing child

Warrants are out for two men from
Texas and Ohio whom police say were
also allowed to abuse the child.

Class one misdemeanor for adults to
give alcohol to underaged drinkers.

He says, under current law, it's
hard to prosecute people who provide
alcohol to underaged guests in their
homes.

Delegate Dave Albo says 67-
percent of underaged drinkers get their
alcohol from an adult who's purchased
it for them.

Under Albo's bill anyone found

guilty of providing alcohol to an
underaged drinker would have his or her
driver's license suspended for one
year.

killed a woman last night.

Roanoke police say they found 20-
year- old Desiree Jennings of Roanoke
inside the Annwill Grocery store. She

arrested for allegedly molesting his 8-
year- old son - and allowing other men
to do so as well..

The Catawba-area man is not being
identified in the interest of
withholding the boy's identity.

Charges against the man include
55-counts of possessing child
pornography, and taking indecent
liberties with a minor.

Warrants are out for two men from
Texas and Ohio whom police say were
also allowed to abuse the child.

Chris Rehak urged Senator John
Edwards to sponsor a new bill after a
jury acquitted a Radford man accused of
sexually abusing several children

Rehak says the man had just
gotten out of jail for other sex crimes
against children, but by law, Rehak was
unable to tell the jury.

Senate bill 12-80 would allow the
Commonwealth to tell a jury about prior
child molestation convictions.

Chick flick?

Yea, so what?

Shouldn't chicks have movies too?
Anyway, read on because it was way
cuter than I expected.

Kat (Debra Messing) has to go to London
for her sister's wedding. One small
problem, the best man is the guy who
dumped her. Yep, the same one that
strung her along for seven, count them
S E V E N, long, years and then dropped
her like a hot, red headed, potato! She
desperately wants to make him feel like
he made a huge mistake so she hires

handsome gigolo Nick (Dermot Mulroney)
to be her "wedding date". Things seem
to go as planned until Kat and Nick
begin to have feelings for each other.

I had pretty low expectations
(especially after seeing an incredible
film like "Million Dollar Baby" last
week), but I was surprised. I already
liked Debra Messing and she is still
cute and charming here. Although, she
doesn't really give us anything that we
haven't seen before on "Will & Grace".
Dermot Mulroney is decent, I just kept
wondering why someone would fall in
love with a gigolo. I mean, how are you
going to develop a meaningful
relationship with a man who sleeps with
other women for money? There was one
member of the cast who really made a
spash! Kat's freind TJ (Sarah Parish)
was three words: FAB U LOUS! She has a
great sense of timing and cracked me
with her bawdy performance!

Like I said earlier, this probably is a
chick flick, but it was an
entertaining, fun, chick flick.

Rated: PG-13

:38 Union workers at the Volvo plant in
Dublin have a reached a tentative
agreement on a new contract.

Negotations had been ongoing
since early December.

The previous five contract
expired this week.

Workers will now vote on the new
contract.

Still no contract between the
Celanese plant and its workers in Giles
County.

Members of UNITE HERE Local 20-24
voted down a four year contract from
Celanese.

65-percent of union members said
NO.

The two sides have been working
since December on a new contract and
severance benefits for 300 workers
being laid off.

The plant is discontinuing
production of acetate filament, a
product often found in clothing and
household goods.

The current contract expires in
