The big story of the day was
Nascar's Tony Stewart and his team
which lost the lead and the race a year

ago with suspension problems, and today
fell out with less than two hours left
thanks to a hole in the transmission.

The winners completed 710 laps on
the 3 and a half mile circuit for a
total of 2, 527 miles.

The Ponitac Crawford of Jimmie
Johnson, Butch Leitzinger, and Elliott
