afternoon. Witnesses say two men were
crossing north main street right in
front of P-K's a popular bar in the
downtown.

A driver who saw the whole thing
happen says a silver Chevy car came
speeding by him.

to help say the man had serious head
injuries.

Police say the crash happened at
about seven this morning.

The 24-year--old Strong died two
weeks ago, during a deadly ambush on
his Marine convoy in Iraq.

lives will be touched by him.

The stamp will show up at the post
office tomorrow.

Fans and admirers of the late
president Ronald Reagan lined up at
library early to be among the first to
buy the commemorative stamp.

The postal service actually broke with

early.

Normally it honors prominent
Americans no sooner than ten years
after their death.

It can make an exception for a
U.S.

President, especially one as popular as
Reagan.

The postal service has produced

state title. Despite a full football
scholarship signed, sealed and
delivered to Virginia, the senior is
willing to risk injury to play
basketball for the first time on
varsity. He doesn't play that much, but
he wants to help his team and his
school.

That kind of unselfishnes has
helped the Patriots win three of four
super Bowls. They also have talent, as

do the Pioneers. Senior forward Frisco
Sandige is being heavily recruited by
Liberty, VMI and Elon. That talent has

of a cell phone when she was born in
September, weighing 8 point 6 ounces
and measuring nine and a half inches
long.

When she was discharged from a
Chicago hospital this morning, she
weighed five and a half pounds.

She's now home with her larger
twin sister, Hiba.

Doctors expect Rumaisa to develop
normally.
