Christiansburg Elementary school this
morning to thank students for all their
letters while he was in Afghanistan.


Kramer returned home Sunday after
serving six months fighting the war on
terror.

His son, Charles, is also in the

after officers shot him.

It happened around five yesterday
afternoon, on North Main Street in
Danville.

The suspect, Corey Lee Walters, was
wanted on several criminal charges

for the 26-year-old when they got
information that he was in the north
end of the city.

This year's winner was 25-year-old
Jill Wettsein, who beat the English
runner by just over a second.

Liberty Senior Guard << From her freshman year at Glenvar 1:09 to her freshman year at Liberty,
Allyson Fasnacht is the starting point
guard. But it took her 2 and a half
months to earn the job in practice this
season.

ALLYSON FASNACHT/LIBERTY FRESHMAN GUARD

Fasnacht became the Flames starting
point guard January 15th and Liberty is
7 and OH during that time but her game
must continue to evolve.

CAREY GREEN/LIBERTY HEAD COACH

Faznacht led Glenvar to a state
championship and two final fours. That
leadership, even as a freshman, is
obvious to her new college teammates.

KRISTAL THARP/LIBERTY SENIOR GUARD

Faznacht and her Lady Flames will
chase a ninth straight Big South
championship when the tournament begins

surpass 158-thousand after construction
of 35 luxury suites is finished.

The suites are located in turn
two, and will add a little more than
one- thousand seats to the track.

Construction began last week and is
expected to be completed in time for
the August race weekend.
