The next in line to the British
throne today announced he will marry
Camilla Parker-Bowles in April.

The prince's office says the
civil ceremony "will be a largely
private occasion" at Windsor Castle.

Parker-Bowles will use the title

"her royal highness the duchess of
Cornwall" after the marriage.

Should Charles becomes king, she
will become the princess consort.

The late Princess Diana,
Charles' first wife who was killed in a
car crash after their divorce, always
blamed his relationship with
Parker-Bowles for the breakup of thier
marriage.

Queen Elizabeth is said to have
blessed the union.
