If you were with us earlier in
the week, we told you how donations on
the Roanoke campus helped pay for
senior Kevinn Hunter's mom to be flown
in from Alabama to see her son play for
the first time in 8 years.

But that was just the start of

things as big Kevinn pulled off a big
surprise by proposing marriage to
Heather CooK.

The senior volleyball player from
Pulaski County was completely surprised
as Hunter went down on bended knee and
slipped the diamond on her finger.

She said yes and then the Maroons
got busy trying to take out the
visitors from Guilford.

Jared Butler, cuts across the key
area, pulls up and hits the jump shot
for the Maroons. He had a dozen
points.
