While members say they liked the
two-percent raise, some felt the health

than four-years ago.

Martinsville clothing store back in

Today, a grand jury indicted her
husband, Maverick "Muhammed" Thomas and
another man, Malvester "Muhammed"

firearm in the commission of a murder
for hire.
The alleged gunman, Billy Ray Manns,
agreed to plead guilty to killing
Thomas, in exchange for a one year

in critical condition after the car he
was driving smashed into a house.
18-year-old Joshua Glenn Crowder
ran off Castle Rock Road early Sunday
morning.

families.

Saturday Red Cross officials say the families
were returning home from an out-of-town
trip, when they discovered their
apartments had been damaged by fire.
The fire happened Saturday afternoon at
the Sterlingwood Apartments.
Fire officials say a child started the
blaze, damaging 12-units and displacing
about 20-people.
Four families are now in hotels set up
by the Red Cross.
The rest have found shelter in vacant
apartments within the complex.
