Members of the Local 20-69 turned down
a contract covering both salaried and
hourly workers, and another covering
just hourly workers.

Members say it was nice to see a two
percent raise incorporated into the new
contract, but some felt the health
insurance and pension plans didn't hit
the mark.

The union, however, did approve a
separate agreement pertaining only to
the plant's *salaried* workers.

Both sides have agreed to operate under
terms from the old contract, while
negotiations continue.
