The principal sent home a letter
alerting parents to a report that a
stranger had tried to pick up a
kindergarten student while she waited
for the school bus in the North Lakes
area.
The letter cited specifics: how
the man attempted to lure the little
girl into his truck with a stuffed
animal.
Late yesterday county police
said, while there was a brown truck in
the area, they determined no one ever
approached the child.
