flown to UVA Medical Center with severe
burns.

The home at 33- 44 Glade Road
caught fire shortly after midnight.

Bowyer went back into his burning
home to rescue his grandaughter.

Investigators say the fire is not
suspicious, and may have started in the
kitchen area.

A family member says Bowyer has
severe burns and lung damage.

ENG#=4 this morning in Montgomery County, when

the bridge it was crossing gave way.

The Highland Propane truck had made a
delivery on Myrtle Lane, and was
heading back across the bridge toward
Bradshaw Road when the accident
happened.

The driver wasn't injured and the truck
did not release any propane when it
overturned into Bradshaw Creek.

into the creek, but crews put booms in
the water to contain the spill.

Late this morning, a large wrecker was
preparing to lift the truck out of the
creek.

The bridge was built with steel beams,
and an official with Highland Propane

said there was no reason to believe it
was unsafe.

Glenn Crowder was not wearing a seat
belt when his car ran off the road and
demolished the corner of a brick house.

Without offering much detail,
police also say the 18-year old driver
was exceeding the 25-mile- an- hour
speed limit... and that alcohol was a
factor.

The accident occurred around 5:30
Sunday morning.

For the second year in row explosions
shattered a day of prayer in Iraq.

More than two-dozen people were killed,
and many more were injured when

three suicide bombers blew themselves
up in three different locations in

Baghdad.

Two of the bombings came at Shiite
mosques while worshippers prayed-the

third came during a religious
procession as people marched along
streets.

The wounded were rushed to the nearest
hospitals.

The attacks come on the eve of
Ashoura-the holiest day of the year for

Shiites.

And it brings back memories of last

festival. Twin blasts ripped through

Baghdad and Karbala-a city south of the
capital

The Iraqis are already blaming radical
Sunni Muslim insurgents for

todays incident.

The insurgents have staged car bombs,
shooting attacks and kidnappings

in efforts to destabilize Iraqs
reconstruction.

Iraqi and Coalition officials had
feared militants would target Shiites

to get back at them for winning a
majority in Iraqs recent

elections.two Shitte candidates are in
the running for Prime Minister.

In anticipation of even more violence
during this holiday-security has

been beefed up-some of the borders have
been sealed off.
