fly out tonight.

January 9 The Marines finished up training
in Virginia more than a month ago.
B-Company was then split into two
groups.One headed to Camp Lejeune,
North Carolina, and the other to
Twentynine Palms, California.
Military officials say the
Marines at Twentynine Palms have
already left, and the group at Camp
Lejeune was set to depart for Iraq
tonight.
No word on exactly what the
Marines will be doing --except that
they will support the second Marine
Division combat unit.
They should be in Iraq for six to
seven months.

apparently survived. And their reason

January 29 Last month, a state trooper tried to
pulled over a car along the Fairystone
Park Highway, when the driver jumped
out and ran into the river.
Police feared the man may have drowned,
but now believe he's still alive.
Apparently, someone picked up the man's
paycheck at his job in Bassett.
Authorities have identified him as
Miguel Bravo.
Anyone with information on Bravo's
whereabouts is asked to call police.

An audio expert hired by the New York

A longtime family friend says Sandra
Dee died this morning at a hospital --
of complications from kidney disease.
Dee attracted a large teen audience in
the 1960s with films such as "Gidget"
and "Tammy and the Doctor."
Dee became reclusive in her later
years.
But, her name was resuscitated in 1978
with the movie-musical "Grease" --
which featured the song "Look At Me,
I'm Sandra Dee."
Dee was 63 years old.

ENG#=1 500 were fairly uneventful, but the
last 20 certainly lived up to the hype
as Jeff Gordon held off a pack of
challengers to claim his 3rd win in the
Great American Race.

Fox Sports Rusty Wallace was looking for his

With less than 20 laps to go,
Scott Riggs and Greg Biffle played peek
aboo, triggering the big one.
Scott Wimmer got the worst of
things in the 15 car mess. Wimmer
barrell rolled several times before
coming to a stop near the apron of the
racetrack, but was ok.
Then on the restart, more
trouble. Travis Kvapil, Mike Skinner
and others get stacked up at the line
to bring out another of a record tying
11 caution flags.
Tony Stewart may have had the
best car, but at the end it was down to
Dale, Jr. and Gordon. Gordon held off
the 8 car and the 97 of defending Cup
Champ Kurt Busch to take the checkered
flag for Hendrick Motorsports.
