Now the Camp Mitchell Foundation is
planning a resurrection. Officials
want to make it a centerpiece for

that by adding a lodge, additional
cabins, and a facility which would
house a gym and a new olympic-size
pool.

LODGES OR CABINS AND WE HAVE RECENTLY
IMPLEMENTED A LODGING TAX IN CRAIG,
WHICH WOULD GO INTO AND CREATE MORE
TOURISM DOLLARS.
But to make money- the foundation will
have to spend money.
The project has a price tag of nearly
four-million dollars which will be
funded by the federal and state
governments, along with grants and
donations from the community.
Construction is expected to begin
within the year and be completed within
4 to 5 years.>>
