The Lynchburg News & Advance
reports that Hutcherson received a
so-called "target" letter, notifying

him that federal prosecutors have
substantial evidence linking him to a
crime.

Sources tell News 7 the
investigation stems from a 35-thousand
dollar donation Jerry Falwell
Ministries made to Hutcherson's church
last year for a non-profit project.

The sources say Hutcherson may
have mishandled some of that money.

Hutcherson could not be reached
