Members of a local church are

Now, they're wondering if someone
set the blaze intentionally.

Plus, they said they knew
something about the murders of the

GRAPHIC=ACC Women The Virginia Tech women got a
ENG#=1 nasty Wake Up call tonight in their ACC

Tournament debut.

The Hokies had fewer turnovers
than Wake Forest and outrebounded the
Demon Deacons, but shot just 30 percent
in a 61-to-56 first round knockout.

Hokies vs. Demon Deacons The Hokies came in as the 7th :00 seed in the event while Wake was the
number 10 seed.

Kerri Gardin and Dawn Chriss were
the only Hokies to hit in double
figures as they combined for 33 of
Tech's 56 points.

But the difference in the game
was behind the three point line. Tech
took just four threes and missed then

all, while Wake made 8 of them. *CG final Wake Forest
61 Liz Strunk led Wake with 20 Virginia Tech points as the Demon Deacons upset Tech 56 and drop the Hokies to 17 and 11 on the ACC First Round season.

Titans vs. Warriors Magna Vista head coach Vickie
:00 Hayes Scott knows all about this time
of year - she's the only area coach to
win a state title last season with the
Warriors.

Watch senior Monique DeLoatch
push the ball on the break, and then
dish off a nice assist to Latisha
Belcher. The six footer gets the hoop
and the harm for the Warriors.

Steve Buchanan's own senior would
counter on the other end of the floor -
Maria Migliarese drops in the jumper
from the right side for the Titans -who
kept it tight. *CG final Hidden Valley
46 But Belcher was just too much on Magna Vista the inside. Here they have her 51 trapped, but she still scores 2 of her Group AA Quarterfinals 29. Magna Vista advances to next
Friday's semi-final at VCU - 51 to 46.

A 68-year-old postcard has
finally been delivered to the Roseburg
Book and Stationary Store of Roseburg,
Oregon.

Boston businessman Edward Hammond
mailed the postcard on October 13, 1937
to try to sell his collector stamps.

At first, Oregon postal workers
were skeptical of its authenticity, but
an inspection determined it was real.

They still aren't sure just how
the postcard made its way back into
circulation. (END VO) (END VO)
