GRAPHIC=Unemployment Job creation was stronger than

expected last month.

The Labor Department says some
262-thousand jobs were added to
payrolls. That's the biggest number in
four months.

The data boosted spirits on Wall
Street, where stock futures rose upon
the report's release.

A 68-year-old postcard has
finally been delivered to the Roseburg
Book and Stationary Store of Roseburg,
Oregon.

Boston businessman Edward Hammond
mailed the postcard on October 13, 1937
to try to sell his collector stamps.

At first, Oregon postal workers
were skeptical of its authenticty, but
an inspection determined it was real.

They still aren't sure just how
the postcard made its way back into
circulation.
