Lynchburg this afternoon.

The drivers of both vehicles plus

Authorities say the scheme cost

56 year old Bob Shell on distribution
of morphine.
Shell is already charged with
felony homicide, four counts of
defiling a corpse and several drug
charges in connection with the death of
his girlfriend and model.
Police say he gave 19 year old
Marion Franklin a lethal dose of
morphine.
Prosecutors say the new drug
charge was added because of evidence
Shell gave morphine to another person
during the photo shoot where Franklin
died.

Keith, Police believe the three
had been robbing drug dealers for some
time before the murder happened.
Obviously these crimes were never
reported by the dealers, but police
heard whispers of them on the streets.
Prosecutors say since these three
have been under investigation those
robberies have stopped.

The service between Bristol and

coach Billy Mills has resigned to take
over as the head coach of Dinwiddie
high school outside of Richmond.
Mills turned the Rockbridge Co.
Wildcats into winners during his five
years at the school.

unexpectedly resigned today - quitting
the Thundering Herd effective
immediately.

leaving after 9 years at the helm
of the program and just two days before
the start of spring
practice as Marshall prepares to enter
Conference U-S-A as a new member.
Pruett is the most successful football
coach in Marshall history
with a 94 wins, 5 MAC titles and 5 bowl
wins.
He's a Beckley native who
graduated from Marshall in 1965.
Some are speculating his
retirement won't last long and that
Marshall will find more money to bring
him back.

GRAPHIC=UHL The United Hockey League which
announced on February 25th that it's
coming to Roanoke next year, lost one
of its franchises today.
The Port Huron Beacons, based out
of Michigan, are folding after three
seasons.
The owners of the team, Ken and
Kristen Dixon say they lost $1 million
dollars in the team's first two years
of existence and expect to lose another
three to four hundred thousand this
year.
There is a strong possibility
that this may be the team that ends up
in Roanoke - possibly with the same
owners, or with new ones.
Former Express goalie Daniel
Berthiaume currently plays for Port
Huron.
