ENG#=1 threat at one Roanoke High School.

The threat was called in around 11:15
yesterday morning at William Fleming
High School.

Two bomb-sniffing dogs searched the
building, but found nothing.

Officials originally had students
waiting outside during the search, but
because of the cold weather, sent them
next door to Ruffner Middle School,
where they waited to go home.

19 year old Aamir Brown pled

guilty to eight charges yesterday
afternoon, including first degree
murder.
*CG file May Last May, Brown shot and killed
Brian Gray and wounded another man in
this apartment on Downey Street in the
city.

As part of a plea agreement,
Brown was sentenced to 70 years in
prison.

A capitol murder charge was
lowered to first degree murder.

Another Radford murder case is
delayed again.

This time, because well known
Photographer Bob Shell has hired Gil
Davis to be his attorney.

Davis is best known for
representing Paula Jones in her sexual
harrassment case against President
Clinton.

He's also running for Luietenant
Governor.

Shell is charged with felony
homicide, four counts of defiling a
corpse and several drug charges in
connection with the death of his
girlfriend and model.

Police say he gave 19 year old
Marion Franklin a lethal dose of
morphine.

Lynchburg City council will add
the late Doctor Martin Luther King
Junior's name to a street running
through a historic black neighborhood.

that Fifth Street from the riverfront

honorary designation ... but at the
suggestion of other supporters, council

His four year contract provides an

The Northern Virginia educator says
