County Sheriff's Office concerning a
recent bust.

10-people after reports that stolen
payroll checks were being cashed.

Authorities say the scheme cost
the Bank of Botetourt more than
40-thousand dollars.

The nine-men and one woman face
numerous charges and more are expected.

They are held without bond.

whether the suspects are naturalized
citizens.

If they are not- the group would
be turned over to the INS.

Blake was not in court. His attorney
says the actor will only appear when

required by the judge.

Blake is accused of killing his

tricked him into marrying her. She was
fatally shot nearly four years ago.

If convicted, he could be sentenced
to life in prison.

Michigan, Wake Forest, UVa and others
started pouring in for Redick, the
only unanimous first team all ACC
selection, during his sophomore year,
the same time Belton recieved an offer
from Pete Gillen.

Smythers about Belton.

GRANT SMYTHERS/SALEM HEAD COACH:

Smythers said early Tuesday he thinks
Belton, who has grown an inch to 6 foot
8 and begins AAU ball with Richmond
based Boo Williams next week, will stay
at Salem next season and not go to Oak
Hill. Redick was quoted in the News and
Observer recently as saying there was
absolutely no chance he would jump to
the NBA and that he plans to return for
his senior season at Duke. Steve Mason
