Cavaliers vs. Canes Pete Gillen entered the MCI :00 knowing this could be his final game at
UVa.

Roanoke's J.R. Reynolds has
played some of the worst basketball of
his life in the past few weeks - but
tonight J.R. was the man.

He scored 32 of UVa's 66 points -
a career high. He kept them in the
game in the first half and kept them
from losing it in the second half.

V-Dot is restoring its Safety
Service Patrol.

The program was cut in half the
past two years due to state budget
shortfalls.

It's designed to help get broken
down vehicles and their drivers off the
road as soon as possible, cutting down
on traffic jams.

Once additional staff is hired,
eight people will patrol Interstates
81, 581, and Route 220.

They'll be out during peak travel

times Thursday through Monday. (END VO) (END VO)
