Investigators say Parris walked
into the station shortly after 11:00

network.
Crowe tell's Austalia's G-Q magazine
that he was told Osama bin Laden's
group wanted to kidnap him as part of a
"cultural destabilization plot."

He says he was informed of the
plot by F-B-I agents in 2001 --
just before he won an Oscar for
"Gladiator."
Crowe says it was the first time
he'd ever heard of al-Qaida.
He thinks it's ironic that the
plot allegedly involved removing
American icons to destabilize the
culture.
Crowe was born in New Zealand and
lives in Australia.
Crowe says he was shadowed by
F-B-I agents after the threat.
