will be relieved of his coaching
duties, possibly by the end of today.
Gillen's team began this season
with high hopes after starting off 8
and 1 and earning a spot in the top 25.
But U-V-A faltered after the
first of the year and finished the
season with a losing record.
In his seven seasons at UVa -
Gillen won 118 games and lost 93, but
the team managed to win just 11 of 56
ACC road games in those seven years.
Virginia athletic director Craig
Littlepage is expected to address the
situation later today.

woman as she walked along the
Huckleberry Trail.
The woman called police Sunday night,
saying the man pulled a knife on her

ENG#=3 found burning outside a Roanoke
cemetary - questions remain.
Authorities have yet to identify
the victim, but a local family believes
the man is their missing loved one,
Jessie Whorley.

Robert and Katie Thomas were
driving home Saturday night when they
noticed something outside the gates of
Fairview Cemetary.
When they went back to
investigate they found a man on fire.
Initial reports indicated the man
had been shot and set a blaze - but

The Thomas' say the victim had
burns on his arms and face.
A spokesman for the Whorley
family tells News7 -Jessie Whorley is
at the UVA burn center and underwent a
skin graft procedure last night.

Dominion is going up in smoke.
In fact, Paramount Parks is
placing smoking restrictions at all
five of its theme parks.
Kings Dominion has banned smoking
while riding rides, standing in lines,
anywhere in the WaterWorks park or in
gift shops.
This is following a trend among
some of the bigger parks.
Disney was the first to ban smoking
in its park, followed by Universal
Studios.
