two large passenger vans carrying
Liberty University's club lacrosse team
were driving along Route 45 north of
Mobile when one van came to a sudden
stop.
The second van hit the first,
sending it into the path of a tractor
trailer ...

ACCIDENT VICTIM: WE SLAMMED RIGHT INTO
THE FIRST VAN AND THEN THE FIRST VAN
DIDN'T WANT TO HIT THE CAR IN FRONT OF
IT, SO IT SWERVED INTO THE ROAD AND AN
ONCOMING TRUCK JUST DESTROYED IT AND
THE VAN TIPPED OVER, AND THERE WERE
GUYS TRAPPED UNDER IT AND WE ALL GOT
OUT. SOME KIDS WERE FREAKING OUT, BUT
WE MANAGED TO LIFT UP THE VAN JUST
ENOUGH SO WE COULD PULL OUT THE GUYS.

million dollars last year.

Blacksburg is considering raising
the Real Estate Tax by three cents.
Town Council hasn't raised the
tax since the 1980's.
It's currently at 20 cents.
The proposed increase would mean
a person with a 2-hundred thousand
dollar home would pay an extra 60
dollars a year.
Town Council members won't vote
on a final budget for several weeks.

woman on the Huckleberry Trail.

the trail around 6 p-m Sunday when a
man chased her, pulled out a knife and
tried to take her into the woods.
A third person on a bike showed
up and the man with the knife ran off.
Police say the incident is
