The building has been condemned, which

pulled a gun on a girl at a Danville
middle school today.
A school resource officer heard
about the incident, confronted the boy
and found a gun tucked into his
waistband.
The Bonner Middle School student
was charged with brandishing a firearm
and was staken to a dentention home.

They called the Sheriff's office
around three o'clock yesterday to
report a suspicious odor coming from a
trailer next door on East Lee Highway
in the Graham's Forge section of the
county.
Investigators searched the home
with the owner's permission and found a
meth lab.
35 year old Ronald Lee Ratcliffe
and 29 year old Tracy Renee Danner were
arrested and charged with manufacturing
methamphetamine and conspiracy to make
the drug.
They're both being held at the
New River Valley jail without bond.

Ferrell, of Danville, turned himself
in.
He now faces several charges including
robbery, attempted robbery, and
burglary with intent to commit assault.

into his apartment, threatened him and

demanded money.

community is coming to the Layman
Orchards.

Daleville is being proposed as
Botetourt County's first traditional
neighborhood district.
The new community would be called
"Daleville Town Center" and feature
commercial space, 180-residential units
and 120-multifamily units.
The goal of the development is to

of the '40's which featured a mix of
land used and building types.
A meeting will be held tomorrow
night to introduce the project to the

Wake Forest in voting by the
Atlantic Coast Sports Media
Association. Of the 121 ballots cast,
Redick got 68 of them. May got
34, and Paul 11.
Redick led the ACC in scoring,
free throw percentage and minutes
played while helping the Blue Devils
finish 3rd in the final A-P top 25.
They won their sixth ACC tournament
title in seven years behind Redick, who
was named M-V-P of the event on Sunday.
Duke begins play in the NCAA
tournament Friday as the top
seed in the Austin Regional.

Sink with a standing ovation.
The 22-year-old soldier is a 2000
graduate of Jefferson Forest High
School and currently stationed in
Bagram, Afghanistan.
His mom works at the school - and
before long teachers and students
adopted him as their own and started
sending letters and care packages.
Today he said thanks.
