:00 Speaking of Minnesota a Hopkins

high school sophomore got the fans out
of their seats by sitting on his
Saturday night during his team's state
championship final against Eastview.

With his team down by two points
and only seconds left in the first
overtime, Blake Hoffarber fell flat on
his backsode, found the ball in his
hands and drilled a buzzer-beating
basket to make the tie. His team - the
Hopkins Royals went on to

defeat the Eastview Lightning 71-60 in
the second overtime and win the

Class 4A State Championship.

ESPN The women do not play on neutral :00 sites and you can see that this was
anything but neutral last night as a
packed house on Minnesota's home floor

greeted the Lady Cavs.

Virginia actually shut those
people up early on as they came up
firing and took the lead in the first
ten minutes of the game. Virginia also
got Minnesota's star Jenny McCarville

in foul trouble, but that only inspired
Minnesota.
