Alleghany County early Saturday morning

truck lurched at them and deputies

At least one bullet hit Mills in

who started the fight, but they say
charges are pending against three
people -- two juveniles and one adult.
The owners of the rink tell us they did
have about 15-security officers there

U-S Marines which in simple terms is a
military lawyer.
He never visited the Abu
Ghraib prison, but he dealt with many
detainees who were sent there.

of soldiers are believed to have taken
part in the abuse, Schrantz says it
created big problems.

doctor's doctor has a conflict in the
case.
The OxyContin trial is
tentatively set for October in
Abingdon, now that Knox's lymphoma
appears to be in remission again.

<< Oncologist Bill Fintel says that
it would be inadvisable for Knox to
travel to Abingdon for a 6-week trial.
Friday, the prosecution filed a
motion, maintaining that Fintel's
service as a trustee of the Knox
Defense Fund means Fintel is "not an
objective witness."
The defense fired off a letter
pointing out that the court and the
government have relied on Fintel's
opinions, and no one questioned his
objectivity and veracity until now.
Contacted today, Dr. Fintel said
the "defense fund" has nothing to do
with his opinion of Knox's health.
"The reason I'm not objective,"
Fintell said, "is I'm his friend. I've
known him 15 years."
Fintel said he would be happy to
testify under oath as the government
requests. "It's my opinion the case
should be tried here locally," meaning
Roanoke, Fintel says.>>

new coaches to their football staff.
Greg Shockley, a former player at
Blacksburg high and Virginia Tech, will
coach receivers for the Keydets. Last
season Shockley was on the staff at
William & Mary.
Jon Genson also joins the staff
as a Running backs coach.
