Butch Mowles like owls has passed away.

After our story aired about Mowles
last month, people came forward
donating enough money to pay off his
stolen computer and buy him a new one.

Mowles received his new computer

last Monday- and died one week later
after suffering breathing trouble.

His wife tells News 7 the computer
will now go to their daughter to use
for school work.

Kenneth Butch Mowles was 51 years
old.

achievement, the school system started
diversity training three years ago.

Bus drivers, teachers and
administrators all went through the
training to identify different cultures
in Lynchburg and learn more about them.
