ruling from a federal appeals panel in
Atlanta, which refused to order Terri
Schiavo's feeding tube re-attached. In
a two-to-one rulilng, a panel of the
11th Circuit Court of Appeals rejected
a request by Schiavo's parents.

Florida's governor is calling on the
state legislature to get involved in
the Schiavo case -- and, in his words,
"spare Terri's life."

Her parents say they'll take the
case to the U-S Supreme Court.

brief, silent appearance.

For exactly one minute, the pope did
appear at his window.

His face appeared frozen in a faint
smile, but he did wave to the crowd and

last week.

There have been reports in the
Italian media that the Pope is not
responding well to his medication.

In order to lighten the load,crews

were attempting to pump out some 800
gallons of fuel - in the hopes that the
lighter weight would make it possible
to move the ship.

The "Irving Johnson" ran aground
Monday night, forcing an emergency
rescue mission for 20 crew members and
passengers.

The four million dollar ship is one
of two custom built vessels designed to
look like 19th century windjammers. It
was being used for a seven day
excursion for 10 students.
