early this morning.

Police say 41 year old Tony Dale
Martin of Concorde, was sitting in a
car with a friend in the area of 8th
and 10th streets -- when Martin was
shot once in the chest by an unknown
suspect.

His friend drove him to the
Emergency Room at Lynchburg General
Hospital, where he died.

gauging for vaccinations.

bill this week.

It amends the Consumer Protection
Act to prohibit any person from
selling, or administering flu
vaccinations at high prices -- during
periods when the Governor has declared
a vaccine shortage.

Only people at high-risk of flu

are typically issued vaccinations
during a shortage.

The bill includes an emergency
clause -- meaning it went into effect
immediately after it was signed.
