RANDY LINDHOLM:IT KINDA HITS HOME.

Pope John Paul's death came as no
surprise to Catholics around the world,
but that didn't seem to lesson the
affect of the leader's passing.

At Saint Andrews Cathedral the
pews were full of both Catholics and
non-catholics that felt the Pope's

however many were remembering the Pope

The FDA recommends that the drugs not
be used on children under two. And that
they should not be taken by people with

that they should only be used for short
periods of time --not continuously and
patients should use the smallest
amounts possible --because in animals
increasing the dose resulted in higher
rates of cancer

RANDY LINDHOLM:IT KINDA HITS HOME.
WHETHER IT'S HERE OR OVER IN ROME OR
POLAND OR WHERE EVER, IT HITS HOME.

Pope John Paul's death came as no
surprise to Catholics around the world,
but that didn't seem to lesson the
affect of the leader's passing.

At Saint Andrews Cathedral the
pews were full of both Catholics and
non-catholics that felt the Pope's
influence in their lives.

BONNIE MATTHEWS:I THINK THAT HE SPOKE
FOR MORE THAN JUST THE CATHOLIC CHURCH,
AND HE AFFECTED THE WHOLE WORLD IN A
VERY POSITIVE WAY, AND I FELT THAT I
WANTED TO BE CONNECTED IN A SPECIAL WAY
TO HIS DEATH TODAY.

People leaving the mass referred
to Pope John Paul as not JUST a leader
in the Catholic Church, but a prominent
figurehead to the world.

CLAYTON ZOLYZNIAK:THE WAY WITH PEOPLE.
WHEN HE GOES OUT ON TRIPS AND THINGS
LIKE THAT HE GOES OUT AND HE VISITS ALL

OF THEM. IT MAKES A BIG IMPRESSION WITH
EVERYBODY.

There were of course sorrow faces
seen throughout the crowded cathedral,
however many were remembering the Pope
with a smile.

CLAYTON ZOLYZIAK:I THINK HE IS HAPPY TO
GO UP THERE. I THINK HE IS GOING UP
THERE RIGHT AWAY.

And others were remembering him
as a person.

RANDY LINDHOLM:HE WAS THE POPE, BUT YET
HE WAS A HUMAN, HE WAS A MAN. HE HAD
FEELINGS JUST AS WELL AS THE REST OF
US.
