late Thursday.

Police got a tip the next day, and
raided this Lynchburg apartment where
they recovered most of the stolen
liquor.

hit from a backhoe.

below flood-stage overnight.

The Delaware river reached
28-feet, four feet higher than than it
rose during heavy rain left over from
