GRAPHIC=MEN'S FINAL FOUR For the first time since 1975
ENG#=1 when UCLA hooked up with Kentucky - the

number one and two ranked teams in the
nation have made it all the way through
their respective sides of the bracket
to meet in this evening's National
CHampionship game.

It's one of those rare
occurrences where the two best teams
will actually play for the title.

GRAPHIC=UVA One of the big topics of
ENG#=2 conversation in some circles at the

Final Four has centered around just who
might end up as UVa's next head
basketball coach.

VO-NAT VO-NAT

*CG locator Columbia, SC
:00 Surprisingly, the search has now
come full circle and appreantly is
centering on current South Carolina
head coach Dave Odom.

Odom is now 62 years old, and
while of you may remember him as the
ACC coach of the year who had Tim
Duncan on his team, longtime UVa fans
know he's more than that. *CG locator Charlottesville
1987 From 1982 through 1989 he was an
assistant coach at UVa under his
longtime friend and former boss Terry
Holland.

One of his fellow assistants on
that staff was none other than Craig
Littlepage - UVa's athletic director
and the man in charge of this search.

GRAPHIC=BRISTOL The Busch series finally raced at
ENG#=4 Bristol this afternoon after getting

washed out on Saturday.

VO-NAT VO-NAT

*CG locator Bristol, TN
Fox The race featured a record three :00 red flags that stopped the event for
lenghty periods and

and a record-tying 14 yellow cautions.

One of those came out with under
five laps to go as Shane Hmiel spun out
veteran Dale Jarrett. After his car
was stopped - Jarrett made a point to
explain to the young Mister Hmiel
that'snot how you drive. Hmiel likely
will get suspended or fined for an
obscene gesture.

Kevin Harvick avoided all of that
mess to win the Sharpie Professional
250. Harvick came from 38th and held
off teammate Jeff Burton for the win.
