12-hundred in the Roanoke area.
The company says it could take until
midnight to restore power.
Homeowners spent yesterday picking up
branches from this weekend's high
winds.

forcing several road closures.
In this case, city crews had to use
chain saws and a front end loader just
to clear the debris.
And trees weren't the only things

The jury is still out on what
caused Falwell's lungs to fill with
liquid, but Jonathan and the
congregation are excited to hear that
Falwell's condition has improved.

their prayers his way.

major flooding. Hours of continuous
heavy rainfall contributed to the
rising water levels.

attempts to divert the flow of
floodwaters. However, some yards and

Western Virginia.
Company spokeman Todd Burns says more
than 52-hundred customers are still in
the dark this morning. That's down from
14-thousand outages last night.

Homeowners spent yesterday picking up
branches from this weekend's high

creeks near Scranton, Pennsylvania.

floodwaters. However, some yards and

His son, Jonathan, took over on
the pulpit for the day, and gave

Mandatory evacuations were ordered near
the rising Lackawanna River.
Authorities began evacuating residents
in the heavily flooded areas, using
rubber rafts and boats. So far there
have been no reports of serious
accidents or injuries.
