The Louvre in Paris moved its
most famous asset into a bigger room.
The new setting allows for a
better view of the 500-year-old Da
Vinci painting.
A museum spokeswoman said
lighting and climate control have also
been improved.
The painting now stands in the
middle of its own wall at one end of a
hall dedicated to 16th-century
paintings.
The museum says six million
people visit the museum each year to
view the Mona Lisa.
