thousands of dollars worth of alcohol
from a state liquor store.

Light".

The Supreme Court has given more
protection to retirement savings in
cases of bankruptcy. The court says
creditors may not seize IRAs or
Individual Retirement Accounts when
people file for bankruptcy. The ruling
gives I-R-A's the same protection
already afforded to pensions, 401-K's,
and Social Security. ==
Shares of AIG rallied after New York
Attorney General Eliot Spitzer said a
civil resolution to his investigation
of the insurance giant is possible. In
a statement, Spitzer said AIG's board
and management are now cooperating with
his investigation of financial
transactions and the way those deals
were accounted for.
On wall street.. Investor were seeing
green as oil pulled back from a record
high 58 dollars a barrel.
The dow rose 16 points

Ten cars of a Union Pacific freight
train derailed in San Bernardino,
California. They were carrying

leaks have been reported.

Investigators are trying to find the

after a shooting incident on Interstate
sixty-four.

truck driver they had been chasing.
Sheriff Dale Muterspaugh (MUTE-ers-paw)
says he believes the officers are ready

reinforce his opinion.
The incident is still under

Sheriff Kermit Osborne announced
he's retiring as of July first.
The 30-year lawman told his
employees late last week.

thousands of dollars worth of alcohol
from a state liquor store.

after a shooting incident on Interstate
sixty-four.

truck driver they had been chasing.
Sheriff Dale Muterspaugh (MUTE-ers-paw)
says he believes the officers are ready
to return to duty.
He says a state de-briefing team, the

others involved in the investigation
reinforce his opinion.
The incident is still under
investigation by the Virginia State
Police.

ENG#=2 Interstate 581 in Roanoke is still
structurally sound even after taking a
hit from a backhoe.

highway at Hershberger Road to inspect
the damage.
The interstate re-opened about five
hours later.
The backhoe that smacked into the
bridge Monday morning was riding on a
trailer. The operator apparently
misjudged the 14-foot 5-inch clearance.
