information about an early morning
murder.
Police say they responded to a call
on Cunningham Street - near White Rock
Playground - just before four this
morning.
When they arrived, they found a man
who had apparently been shot in the
head lying in the street.
The man was pronounced dead at the
scene. He has NOT been identified, nor
has a suspect been named.

hit a Bedford County school bus
yesterday *is* charged with reckless
driving.
State police say Sean
Charles Haskins of Forest lost control
of his car and hit the bus on Hooper
Road near Jefferson Forest High School.
There were about two dozen
students on the bus.
A spokesman for Bedford
County schools says four of them were
transported to Lynchburg General
Hospital- though their injuries
appeared to be minor.
Haskins was also hurt and
taken to the hospital.

bomb on a commercial flight out of
Roanoke.

for New York were evacuated yesterday
as a precaution.
A bomb-sniffing dog was called
in.
State police said "the dog did
NOT hit on anything."

without the young man suspected of
mumbling about a bomb.
The F-B-I was still questioning
him when flight 43-40 took off for
LaGuardia shortly after 2 o'clock.

Family members tell us this
morning she has been upgraded from
critical to serious condition.
Health officials believe they are
dealing with a case of Meningitis,
which is a serious infection of the
fluid in the spinal cord and brain.
But they are waiting for test
results to see if she has the most
seroius form of the illness, Bacterial
Meningitis, which is rare, but *can*
be treated.

Police say they responded to a call
on Cunningham Street - near White Rock
Playground - just before four this
morning.
When they arrived, they found a man
who had apparently been shot in the
head lying in the street.
The man was pronounced dead at the
scene. He has NOT been identified, nor
has a suspect been named.

Rudolph four life sentences without
parole instead of the death penalty.
Part of the deal required
Rudolph to reveal the location of
hundreds of pounds of
explosives stashed away in various

North Carolina.
His bombings include the 1996
Atlanta Olympics and an Alabama
abortion clinic.

what the locals call "The Ship of
Death", a long lost Civil War
battleship which protects a secret

mysterious deaths in the same area.

investigation the cause of a murdered

debut with "Criminal", a retelling of
