It's part of a project to move
services from Community Hospital to
R-M-H and it's also the subject of

Five floors are being added on top of
the south pavilion.

They will eventually house women's
and children's services.

In the middle of the hospital, two
floors are being added for more
operating rooms.

being expanded outwards on the bottom
floor.

the help of a computer tracking system.

has Bacterial Meningitis.

That's the most serious from of a
disease that affects the fluid around
the brain and spinal cord.

Allison McDaniel has the Meningococcal
(MEN-IN-JA-COCK-COAL) strain of the
disease.

McDaniel is in stable condition
at Pulaski Community Hospital.

Family members say she is slowly

were given antibiotics.

Health officials do not believe

any students at Pulaski High School are
at risk.

ended with an arrest today.

carrying two suitcases that officers
believed contained explosives.

After he refused to offer any

suitcases, an officer deemed the
situation a potential threat and

identification.

Investigators are charging two
male juveniles with breaking and
entering, grand larceny and destruction
of county property.

student is hospitalized after a
weekend shooting.

It happened about 6:30 Sunday
night in the street on Salem Turnpike
Northwest.

Roanoke Police say the 17
year old was shot in the leg-

P-H Principal Gary Leah visited
the student at R-M-H today and said he
seems to be doing well.

So far no one's been arrested.
The student's name has not been
released because he's under 18.

leaguer to test positive under the
league's new steroids policy.

Piedra, who played for the Salem
Avalanche during the 2002 season, will

indefinitely following a fight in a
campus dorm.

receiver Bret Smith have been charged
with hitting a man who was arguing with
Schaeffer's girlfriend.

. They have been charged with
misdemeanor assault and released on
their own recognizance. Their court

date is set for April 18th.

Campus police say part of
Schaeffer's involvement was caught on
tape by a video camera in the dorm
lobby.

The document also said Schaeffer
and the other man Quantavios Emerson
grabbed baseball bats but dropped them
before hitting anyone.
